We advance the health workforce by developing the people who lead it.
We work at the intersection of health, education, and workforce development through fellowship, advisory, and speaking engagements that bring leading voices into the conversation.
We develop the people who build the education and workforce capacity in the health sector. When they grow, the people they develop, the organizations they serve, and the field they shape all move forward with them.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Four positions that shape everything we do.
We are built on the belief that serious expertise, given the right conditions, becomes work the field builds on for decades. The professionals also become more confident in their work, sharper in how they lead, and more recognized for what they build.
01
The gap is never knowledge. It's production.
Health sector professionals are among the most knowledgeable people working. What they rarely have is the structured environment to convert that knowledge into their best work. That is a structural problem, not a personal one, and it is one a structured environment can actually solve. Building closes the gap. When that environment exists, the work improves and so does the professional producing it.
02
The health workforce advances when its educators and leaders advance.
Investing in the development of the people who build health workforce and educational capability is one of the highest-leverage investments one can make. When they do their best work and leads with greater confidence, the growth flows directly to the clinicians, educators, and leaders they are developing, to the programs and systems they build, and ultimately to the patients and communities those systems serve.
03
Capability is proven by finishing.
Beginning a curriculum, outlining a framework, or drafting a position paper is something many talented people do. Finishing one, to a standard that holds up when a peer reviewer, an accreditor, or a dean looks at it closely, is what separates an intention from a contribution. We are built as a finishing environment, and we believe that distinction matters enormously for the people who come through it.
04
A finished piece of field-facing work is a fundamentally different kind of credential.
A certificate documents that someone participated in something. A finished field-facing artifact documents that someone produced something. It says something a certificate cannot: that you did the work, that it met a standard, and that the sector can use it. We believe those are meaningfully different claims. The second one travels far further than the first.
OUR APPROACH
We develop the professional and the work at the same time.
Most professional development in education and health sector gives professionals more to know. We give them the conditions to do more with what they already know.
Every engagement, whether a fellowship, an advisory project, or a speaking program, is oriented around two things happening simultaneously:
the professional becoming more capable in their practice
the work they produce reaching a higher standard as a result.
That is what the professionals and organizations who work with us come for. Not to learn about building capability in the abstract, but to actually build it, and to become the kind of practitioner who keeps building it at that level going forward.
Our commitment to output over instruction is what makes the transformation real.
WHO WE ARE
A team with two decades of practice. We are firm built to put it to work.
The team behind Salus Vitae Group has spent more than two decades inside the institutions shaping global health, navigating universities, medical centers, NGOs, consultancies, the public sector, and pharmaceutical organizations. We’ve worked directly with the professionals who build educational and workforce capability at the highest levels of the health sector. We’ve engaged in the educational and workforce challenges those institutions were actively navigating.
That deep operational practice is exactly what our methodology, faculty standard, and cohort structure are built from. Having designed and executed more than 25+ programs through the Health Academy, we took every lesson from that work to refine the precise editorial methodology and structure used in our work and the Fellows Program today.
